Country Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage cooked, drained, crumbled
  • 4 cups Bread day old, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheese your favorite
  • 10 Eggs beaten
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder

Instructions

  1. Grease well a 9“x13” baking dish. Place bread in dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  2. Mix next five ingredients (eggs to onion powder) and pour evenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle sausage on top of casserole.
  3. Cover and chill. MUST BE CHILLED FOR 12 TO 24 HOURS BEFORE BAKING.
  4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake uncovered for 1 hour. Tent with foil if top begins to brown too quickly.
