Country Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage cooked, drained, crumbled
- 4 cups Bread day old, cubed
- 2 cups shredded cheese your favorite
- 10 Eggs beaten
- 4 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
Instructions
- Grease well a 9“x13” baking dish. Place bread in dish and sprinkle with cheese.
- Mix next five ingredients (eggs to onion powder) and pour evenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle sausage on top of casserole.
- Cover and chill. MUST BE CHILLED FOR 12 TO 24 HOURS BEFORE BAKING.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake uncovered for 1 hour. Tent with foil if top begins to brown too quickly.
