Overnight Breakfast Strata

Ingredients

  • 3/4 ts Dry mustard
  • 3/4 ts Worcestershire Sauce
  • 6 sl White bread
  • 2 1/4 c Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 3/4 c milk
  • 1/4 ts Garlic powder
  • 1 c ham Chopped
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 dash Cayanne pepper
  • 2 tb Green onions
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim crust from bread, butter slices lightly and fit into buttered 7x11 dish. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 c. cheese. Top with ham. Mix eggs, onion, mustard, etc. together and pour over layered ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes. Then top with remaining cheese, bake an additional 10 minutes or until center appears to be set. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Makes 6-8 servings. This is a really good, easy recipe.
