Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients
- 6 slices Bread
- 1 pound Sausage
- 2 cup Cheese shredded
- 6 Eggs beaten
- 2 cups Half-and-half cream
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- Butter
Instructions
- Remove crust from bread and spread with butter. Place butter side down in lightly greased 13x9 casserole dish. Set aside.
- Cook the sausage until crumbly and drain well. Spoon the sausage over bread. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese.
- Combine eggs, half and half, and salt. Mix well. Pour over cheese, cover, and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator at least 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
